Pastry Chef
Job Description
The Pastry Chef is responsible for all pastry production for the dining room and all other functions in the club; Develop and implement seasonal dessert menus for Dining room; Decorate pastry items for special events such as buffets and receptions; Supervise any bakery employees; Assist in cost control related to the pastry department; and Maintain the highest professional food quality and sanitation standards. Qualifications: Culinary Arts A.O.S. degree in Pastry preferred with at least 1 year demonstrated job experience; Able to follow written and oral instructions; Good problem-solver; Able to perform basic mathematical calculations; Working knowledge of food preparations and kitchen maintenance procedures; Excellent oral communication skills; Able to work flexible hours/weekends.
